Prior to founding C4 Associates, Mr. Pfefferman served for 11 years as President of Southern California Braiding, Inc. (SCB) where he was engaged in the design and production of complex wire and cable harnesses and assemblies for aerospace and defense customers. In 2013 he was also appointed Vice President of Business Development for the Aerospace & Defense Group of IEC Electronics, Inc., a publicly traded technology company producing custom electronics and hardware for aerospace, defense, medical and industrial applications. SCB is an operating division of IEC.
Mr. Pfefferman was responsible for both SCB and the Aerospace & Defense Group of IEC. In that capacity, he oversaw technology and manufacturing units where he was a leading player in the development, engineering and manufacturing of electrical wiring systems for global customers, with direct responsibility for team leadership in new business development, product and process innovation, supply chain management and production to customer specifications. This included quality assurance and strict operating controls to assure total customer satisfaction as an end result of new product introductions.
Between 2004 and 2010, Craig led his team to record-setting customer satisfaction ratings in his industry. As Chief Operating Officer, his leadership was instrumental in achieving supplier of the year recognition from many OEMs including NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center.
Today, Mr. Pfefferman is President and CEO of C4 Associates, Inc., providing management systems development and implementation for clients requiring 2nd and 3rd party certification of their management systems. C4 systems reviews and training include application of quality management principals and techniques, diagnostic systems assessment, and other processes designed to improve the work flow and alignment between companies. In this capacity, Mr. Pfefferman is a Certified Lead Auditor to AS9100 and ISO 9000 systems including an RAB/QSA Principal Auditor to Quality Management Systems for International Quality Standards. Mr. Pfefferman’s supply chain, quality control, and operating management experience is critical for aerospace and defense contractors and subcontractors in establishing qualifying operating standards.
Mr. Pfefferman began his professional career as a member of the Los Angeles Police Department where he served on active duty for 10 years before beginning his career in private industry. He remains an active decorated Police Officer with the Los Angeles Police Departments Reserve Corps with more than 20 years of service to the people of Los Angeles. He has earned several Distinguished Service medals for outstanding marksmanship, actively serves on the IPC J-STD-001 Addendum Task group for Space applications, and is the proud recipient of the United States Army, General Paul D. Adams award.
In addition to his management roles, Mr. Pfefferman serves on the Board of Managers & Executive Committee for the Supplier Management Council of the Aerospace Industry Association. He is married and lives with his wife and two daughters in Simi Valley, CA.
